While we are not yet sure of the second team, it looks like Penn State will represent the Big Ten in Pasadena on January 1. It will be awesome to have such a historic team play at the 2008 Rose Bowl, and I just hope the other team comes to play. You know that Penn State is going to be pumped for the game, especially with all the news surrounding Coach Joe Paterno. He is a legend that has some of the craziest records in all of college football. Did you know that he is the only college football coach ever to win all four major bowls? He has been nothing but a champion since day one, and I can't wait to see his Nittany Lions take the field.
This will be the second Rose Bowl Coach Paterno has been invited to. He has been in the game a total of a astounding 43 years. He has won a total of 383 wins, and the Rose Bowl could make it 384. As a reminder, he got to come back to the Rose Bowl aster Penn State destroyed Michigan State 49-18 at the Beaver's home stadium. Another incredible stat is that Penn State has won its second Big Ten Championship and 40th game in just four seasons. Its gonna be a great game for anyone that has Rose Bowl tickets on Jan. 1. If you are a Penn State fan, you should definately look into getting some Rose Bowl tickets because that's gonna be an awesome game.
